Tips
Understanding what the journalist requires is key, so if possible prior to the interview ask as many questions as possible to assist with the planning process. Consider what you wish to say and avoid being side tracked, avoid overloading the journalist with an excess of key messages, keep it as simple as possible and never use a long word when a short word will do. All of these tips should help you communicate your message in the most effective way.
